The Centre for Research and Statistics (CRS) has undertaken to accomplish this task. The CRS promotes policy related research focusing on the areas that have become vital for the survival and development for countries and regions. These include productivity; information technology; economic policies, focusing on privatization, liberalization and trade policy particularly in the post World Trade Organization (WTO) scenario.
