Strategies for the losers with a view towards preempting imbalances among countries and regions.

The economies of individual countries, their strengths, weaknesses and suggest policies and programmes.

The importance of productivity growth in increasing competitiveness, causes of productivity slow down, strategies to enhance productivity in sectors, countries and regions.

Countervailing strategies for sectors and countries likely to be affected as a result of the implementation of the World Trade Organization (WTO) regime.

Promotion of research and higher education through links with research institutes and universities.

Engage in consultancy research in areas of interest to the CRS.

Collaborate and assist other organizations and institutes in their research and academic activities.
